Episode 1 recap images
I decided that since I'll be going with the episodic format, I may a well do a little catch-up at the beginning of each episode highlighting the important parts of the previous installment. So, here are the drawings I did to summarize Episode 1! These will be shown with lines from each moment, and then the game will jump into Rina's dream. I tried a new art style for these drawings, so I wonder how everyone will like it haha.
Anyway! Steam page is up, if you're interested in getting it on that platform, please wishlist the game! https://store.steampowered.com/app/1514730/The_Dream_of_Shadowlands_Episode_2/
And finally, I have been contacting programmers to hopefully find the right person to help me optimize the first episode, and set a foundation for the following episodes. I want to increase the accessibility people have with the game, and not have it crash on people just because they have a different level of hardware than what I'm able to run my game with. Since I'm currently trying to get the programming of the first episode further optimized, I don't want to do much work on Episode 2's code until that's sorted through. So, it looks like for the foreseeable future (of like a month or so) we're going to be focused on art!
