New "Talk" Feature



This is something that I've been crunching really hard on this week, it took a lot more time and effort than I originally planned. (; . .) But, I've got a new feature that I'll be adding to the game whenever it's possible for me to get the final update out. Again, it's just a matter of me waiting on the final optimization work to be completed by someone else who is more knowledgeable, so I wanted to take some time to make it even more worth everyone's while. So the current plan for the update is:

-Final optimizations to hopefully work out the kinks for most players

-Better combat balancing to make it feel more meaningful

-The above "Talk" feature for providing hints and more dialogue when players feel stuck

-Remixed/remastered soundtrack to level the music out more (courtesy of one of my friends)

In the meantime, since this was my big contribution to the update, I'm once again done with Episode 1 for the time being, and will return to it when the time comes to assemble all the pieces of the update. So, back to my room drawing I go!
