Overall, I think it would be beneficial for me to focus on Patreon long-term anyway. It would be much easier for me to just focus on development and not so much on marketing, and the amount of marketing involved in the Kickstarter proved to me that I need to prioritize development over everything. Patreon would also ensure monthly paychecks so I wouldn't have to hold out for income that would come from game sales alone. It'll likely take a while to get to the point where I can support myself through this, but I truly believe the game would benefit from it being the primary source of funding. I want to post more consistently and offer a better variety of rewards, continuing to share all the nitty gritty details with patrons while posting less spoiler-y stuff in my public posts from now on.

All is not lost just because of the outcome of this campaign, and I look forward to you guys getting to see what's in store for the game.
