First off, I want to apologize for how long it took for me to get this update out! I'm hoping that the amount of content in this video makes up for it though! Let's get straight into it:

-I've made a couple of new dialogues to wrap up the writing of the demo. One is a teaser for two of the antagonists in the game, Tourke and Ignir, who are a part of the cult that will be dealt with later in the game. This also features the first voice acted lines in the game, which I'm super excited about! This features the voice of Andrew Richards in the role of Ignir (https://sites.google.com/view/andrewrichardsvo/), and I'm excited to work with him! These two characters will show up more prominently later in the game so you'll definitely be seeing a lot more of them! The second is the long dialogue that segues the story into the second level, there will be a dialogue and dream like this between all the levels. I want to make a note that the dream's dialogue makes much more sense with the audio that's planned for it, so just imagine you can hear Rina hearing a bizzare noise outside of her window lol.

-I added a setting to toggle between voice over and vox for the dialogue, since I have implemented the first voiced lines.

-There are three portal rooms to lead into the temple level

-Behind the scenes, I have coded more things to develop the dynamics between Rina and Jyl. Jyl has had an invisible friendship level for a few months now, but I added it so that you get an extra friendship boost with him if you actually use him in combat. The level of friendship will affect later parts of the game, most importantly, the ending.

I believe that's all that's new, again I apologize for the time it took but sometimes life happens and I will continue to try to minimize the snags I hit! To be honest, pretty much everything in this was planned to take about half a month, so this actually puts me far ahead of schedule! I still want to release the official demo on Halloween though, so as soon as I get the boss battle done (planned to be done by the end of August), I'll spend the rest of those two months focusing on audio, polish, and getting as much playtesting feedback as possible to deliver the best demo that I can.
