Sprite Redos

While thinking of what could improve game feel for this project, I settled on trying to improve the sprite animations. So, here we are! These changes will be made gradually, I will not be doing them all in one sitting, nor am I expecting to get them all done in time for the planned Halloween demo launch. I'll definitely try to get all the human characters' sprites redone in time for then, but I'm not yet sure about all the enemies.

Another reason for this change is because I didn't really have a consistent set of proportions for the existing sprites and they felt a bit all over the place. I took the time to actually plan out these new sprites and try to keep the proportions more consistent, balancing them with how each direction looked best. With these new sprites, I'm making them all starting from a base, and then adding the character specific details on top. So, not only will they be a bit more consistent within each character, but they will be more consistent across characters too! Either way, I'm excited for this change and I think it's the last big thing I need to do before I can consider the game competent so to speak. I think combat will definitely benefit from these weightier animations, especially when it will come to the enemies eventually.

Besides the new character sprites, I also did the idle sprite for the first boss, the Ranslug! Will probably just focus on the new sprites for the ranslug and then see about replacing more of the character ones if I have extra time left over this month. Even with the much heavier workload involved in updating the sprites, Things seem to be on schedule!
